MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) creates experiential learning opportunities across the globe for MIT students that increase their ability to understand and address real-world problems. MISTI manages international internships, research, and teaching, as well as study abroad exchange programs and direct enrollment opportunities with select universities abroad. MISTI’s Global Seed Funds grant program promotes collaboration between MIT faculty members and their counterparts abroad. A nucleus of international activity at MIT, MISTI works with partner programs such as the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), the Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center (PKG), and D-Lab to support global opportunities.
