# Infinite Display

If you’d like to reach a large audience quickly and efficiently, Infinite Display is the best way to do it.

Infinite Display enables the MIT community to promote events and publicize messages using digital displays located around campus.

The Infinite Display system is a service for the MIT community and should not be used to promote non-MIT events, goods, or services.

## Display locations

Content you create can be posted on display screens in the following locations:

**Student Zone — 15 screens**

- MIT student dorms: 13 flat-panel displays
- Stata Center: 32-124, 32-155

**Core Zone — 3 screens**

- MIT Copytech in 11-004: 1 flat-panel display

**All-Campus Zone — 35 screens (includes above, plus)**

## Submitting your post

Infinite Display allows you to create your own sign posting using the imagery, color, and style you want. Simply follow these instructions:

- Before creating your post, review [MIT's brand guidelines](https://brand.mit.edu). If you are including the MIT logo in your design, note that it may not be used as text (in place of the letters "MIT") and cannot be combined with a group's own logo. Contact the [Institute Office of Communications](mailto:mit-brand@mit.edu) if you have any questions about using the MIT logo.
- Provide one image per posting in either JPEG or PNG format. Each image is displayed for 15 seconds at a time, with a total viewing time of about an hour per day.
- Keep your designs simple for maximum effect. Six to eight lines of text with the largest font size possible will help with legibility. Read more about creating attractive and effective messages in the [file guidelines and design tips](/infinite-display/display-file-guidelines-and-design-tips).
