In my previous life, I have sometimes felt like I could or should not talk to anyone else about an issue I had concerning my career, in fear of facing ridicule or negative repercussions. I wanted to join bioREFs because I believe everyone deserves and should feel empowered to open up about their professional problems and feel confident someone will understand and support them, no matter the circumstances!
