I found BioREFS to be a great way to maintain interactions with the larger Biology community at MIT, meeting and mentoring first years, and representing the voices of students at the department/institute level. BioREFS helped me a lot during my time at MIT, so this is my way of giving back. I love how our group cares about the students at MIT Biology, and the friendships I have developed through BioREFS.
