## Types of Research
Neurobiology uses a range of techniques, including electrophysiology, imaging, genetics, and molecular biology, to study the cellular and molecular processes that underlie neural function, as well as the behavioral and cognitive processes that emerge from neural activity. The ultimate goal of neurobiology is to understand how the nervous system processes information and produces behavior, and to develop new treatments for neurological disorders and diseases.
