# Global Real Estate Leaders Program

## There’s never been a better time to become a real estate leader.

MIT Center for Real Estate (CRE) and the [University of Maastricht (UM)](https://maastrichtrealestate.com) have partnered to offer the pioneering [Global Leaders Program in Real Estate](https://t.e2ma.net/click/0wrktj/4j8nmq/whhfxbc). This is a unique opportunity for **mid-career professionals** who aim to build their skills and knowledge and develop into a **global leader in the real estate industry**. The program consists of courses taught during four week-long sessions on two continents. The program fee is **$10,000 per module and includes daily breakfast and lunch** during the program, but excludes travel and lodging. Apply early for discounts; further promotions are available for alumni and partners.

Highlights include:

- Captivating lectures by world-class leaders whom have had a formative and transformational impact in their field;
- Site visits to some of the most innovative and advanced buildings and ongoing projects developments in Europe and North America.

## Qualifications to Enter

Admission is a selective process based on your professional achievements and organizational responsibilities. The prospective candidate is recommended to have at least **ten years of experience working within** the real estate industry, general asset management, finance industry and/or built environment.

## Who Should Attend?

This program is designed for individuals with considerable real estate industry experience holding or pursuing executive positions, including:

- Real estate owners and private real estate developers
- Asset managers, fund managers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices
- Lending officers, investors, REIT officers, and advisors
- Real estate industry service providers, such as financial analysts, lawyers, architects, urban planners, prop tech firms and brokers
- Public Sector Leaders: Cities, Urban Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure

### Timeline & Locations

Our next edition of the program consists of two weeks in 2026 and two weeks in 2027.\
The upcoming weeks in 2026 are:

- Spring Module: **April 12–17**, **2026** at Maastricht University, Center for Real Estate.

- Fall Module: **September 20–25, 2026** at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for Real Estate.

### Program Fees

Price per module: $10,000 USD.

Discounted fee:

- 20% discount is being offered to MIT/CRE alumni and UM CRE alumni.

- 20% discount is being offered to PREA, CREW, NAREIT, and ULI members.

### Admissions and Certificates

Earning the professional diploma requires the completion of all qualifying courses.

In addition, participants will receive a certificate for each module completed within the program.
