ClubChem, an MIT undergraduate student club, conducts annual Chemistry Magic Shows. The shows are geared for a young audience, with the goal of inspiring an interest in chemistry and science in general through up-close and personal encounters with some unbelievable, but true, chemical phenomena. The shows are typically presented to elementary schools and community youth programs.

Demonstrations include tricks with acid/base indicators, nylon, and liquid nitrogen. To really get the students involved, there are even some hands-on, interactive experiments. If your school or organization is interested in hosting a Magic Show, please complete the request form.

Every request will be reviewed by the ClubChem board, and the decision to organize a program will be made on a request-by-request basis.
