The fundamental understanding of the mechanics of biomolecules, cells, and tissues.
## Types of Research
Biomechanics combines the principles of mechanics with the study of living organisms. It examines how forces and motion affect the structure and function of living systems, from the cellular to the systems level. Biomechanics applies the laws of physics and engineering to analyze and understand the biological systems, their movements, and the stresses that affect them.
