Summer Research Connection (SRC) is a 6-week program for Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) high school students. Participants are placed in research labs at  Caltech where they conduct scientific research in assigned student-teacher teams under the guidance of research mentors.

Students who are currently enrolled in a PUSD high school and interested in participating in SRC can reach out to Mitch Aiken at [email protected] for more information about summer 2026. Please note that spots are limited, and are usually filled by early spring.

Seminar presentations given by the high school research interns at the end of the six-week research program in past years are featured on our Youtube channel.
