Who can get study support?

If you are studying at bachelor/master's level or are a doctoral student (and are taking a master's course), you can receive support if you meet the following criteria.

To receive study support, you must have a permanent and documented disability. When applying for support, you will need valid documentation proving your disability.

The documentation must be issued by an expert, such as a doctor, speech therapist, audiologist or psychologist. In the case of specific reading and writing difficulties/dyslexia, the documentation may also be written by a special education teacher.

Chalmers does not conduct its own investigations of disabilities.

Examples of disabilities

Apply for study support in Nais

You submit your application in the national system Nais. You must attach a valid certificate describing your disability to the application.

If you have a previous Nais decision from another university, it is unfortunately not valid. You must apply for a new one to prove your permanent disability.

Your certificate must contain the following information to be valid
