[## ERC funded researchers

The European Research Council (ERC), supports excellence in research in EU member countries. The Young Academy of Sweden is an independent academy, which has the objective to function as a cross-disciplinary forum and to produce a scientific political platform for young scientists in Sweden. The Academy was formed in May 2011 at the initiative of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
