We deliver custom-designed mission training for the maritime industry at both national and international levels. Our extensive education activities and their close relationship with our research groups provide unique opportunities for designing courses according to the customer's wishes.

On the courses, you meet teachers from Chalmers as well as the maritime industry.

The courses contain practical elements that are carried out in Chalmers' modern simulators and Chalmers' unique machinery on board the ship Fryken. The courses are delivered by Chalmers pedagogically trained teachers and in many cases with research as a basis. When we need to, we hire experts from the maritime sector or other areas as teachers.

Quality systems

The Swedish Transport Agency makes demands on education providers, by extensive quality work, to ensure good quality in course deliveries. Chalmers University of Technology has implemented the Kvalitetshandbok för sjöbefälsutbildningar (Swedish only) to meet these requirements.
