## Transfer of credits

To have your exchange courses transferred, you must first obtain your **official transcript of records** from the partner university, in English and in original form. It is your responsibility to find out **who the transcript will be sent to** - either directly to you or to the international coordinator at Chalmers.

Once you have received the original transcript you can **apply for credit transfer**. Please note that this process is **not automatic** - you need to submit the application yourself.

Read more about the credit transfer process below:

[## About transfer of credits

As a student who has studied at a Swedish or foreign institution, you can apply to have some of your education credited towards your degree.](https://www.chalmers.se/en/education/your-studies/plan-and-conduct-your-studies/transferring-credits/)

## Travel report

All students who have participated in an exchange through Chalmers are required to write a **travel report** (in English) after completing their exchange. Your report will be published in the **Search Portal** and will serve as a valuable resource for future exchange students who want to learn from your experiences.

*The only exception applies to students who have completed their exchange in Taiwan and worked with the magazine Asia Magazine.*

**Deadlines for uploading your travel report:**

- For exchanges lasting a full academic year or during the **spring semester**: *no later than 10 September*
- For exchanges during the **autumn semester**: *no later than 1 March*

The travel report must be submitted electronically by completing the **“Travel Report” form** in the **MoveOn portal**.

You can find detailed instructions for writing your travel report below.
