## Freestanding courses for Chalmers alumni

As an alumnus with a bachelor's or master's degree from Chalmers, you can apply for courses from Chalmers’ regular range of courses for the coming study period. This option is suitable for those who want to take a course as part of your lifelong learning and have the opportunity to start your studies immediately. You apply via antagning.se (the Swedish site) and submit (upload) the appendix where you specify which course or courses you want to apply for. There is a short time frame between registration, admission decision and the start of studies and therefore you must not be liable for either the application or the tuition fee.

## Freestanding courses for university graduates

Do you need to be able to plan well in advance for your studies? If you have an academic degree from Chalmers or another Swedish or foreign university, you can apply for courses within Chalmers' regular educational range for the coming spring or autumn semester. This option is suitable for those who want to take a course as part of your lifelong learning but need a longer planning horizon. You may want to apply for a leave of absence for studies. You make your application at universityadmissions.se or antagning.se and submit (upload) the appendix where you specify which course or courses you want to apply for.
