# Admission to a Master's programme

## Your admission in three steps:

### Master's programme with assessment procedure (Architecture)

#### 1. Pre-registration and application for admission

If you are new to TU Wien, please set up a guest account in [TU Wien Informations-System "TISS"](https://tiss.tuwien.ac.at/aufnahme/aufnahmeverfahren), choose your study and complete the pre-registration. In doing so, you will also have to register for the so-called [assessment procedure](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/studies/master-programmes/architecture/masterprogramme-architektur/assessment-procedure/faq) ("Feststellungsverfahren").

There will be no separate study place confirmation for the assessment procedure. An application for admission must therefore be submitted **at the same time as pre-registration**.

**Required documents**

- If you have completed your Bachelor's degree at another Austrian or international university/university of applied sciences, click [here](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/masters-programmes/other-inter-national-bachelors-degree). (Note: [special admission period](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/academic-calendar#c827927) for non-EU/EEA citizens!)

#### 2. Review of assessment procedure and application

Your application and documents will be reviewed together with the results of the assessment procedure. A decision can therefore only be made if you submit an application for admission as well as complete the assessment procedure.

#### 3. Enrolment

If you have successfully completed the pre-registration and have received an admission letter, come into the Admissions Office in person during the [admission period](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/academic-calendar) with all [necessary documents](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/masters-programmes/other-inter-national-bachelors-degree#c814067) to enrol. If you have obtained your Bachelor's degree at TU Wien you do **NOT** have to come to the Admission Office again. Admission is carried out online.

### Master's programme with selection procedure (Building Science and Environment, Green Chemistry)

#### 1. Online pre-registration

If you are new to TU Wien, please set up a guest account in [TU Wien Informations-System "TISS"](https://tiss.tuwien.ac.at/aufnahme/aufnahmeverfahren), choose your study and complete the pre-registration. In doing so, you will also have to register for the selection procedure. Please bear in mind the respective registration period:

#### 2. Application for admission: required documents

#### 3. Enrolment
