## Language is not neutral
Since language reproduces gender roles and perspectives, it is important to use gender-neutral language. To help avoid linguistic discrimination and promote conscious use of language, the AKG has published a brochure (in german) with tips on gender-neutral wording. The brochure provides information on the various options for gender-neutral language and illustrates its use with examples.
