Background and challenges
University autonomy and the introduction of a quality management system (as per Section 14 of the Austrian Universities Act) were both linked to a fundamental change in the control of universities. Sustainable processes of innovation and change require professional support. The department supports the rector in developing the quality management system in methodological and process-related ways and by implementing University-wide projects.
