Pre-registration for Doctoral programmes

If you have completed your Master's or diploma programme at another (international) university and have never been admitted at TU Wien before, you have to submit an application for admission to the Admission Office. As soon as you have received a positive decision, you can complete the pre-registration. The pre-registration is open from the beginning of the general admission period.

Upon completion of the pre-registration, you will receive an admission code, which you have to bring along for personal enrolment to the Admission Office within the admission period during the opening hour.

Please ensure that you have the following documents with you as well:

your admission letter,
your valid passport and
your valid residence permit if available.

You have to make online an appointment in the Admission Office for the enrolment in person at the end of the pre-registration (only applicable for winter semesters).
