Welcome to TU Wien

© TU Wien

Starting university is an exciting new chapter in life that can raise many questions and challenges. To help you get off to a good start, TU Wien offers a wide range of information, important platforms, and events that provide guidance and reassurance in everyday student life. We have compiled a selection of these offerings below.

We wish all TU Wien students a successful start and an exciting as well as educational semester.

Guide for students: The guide is intended to serve as an orientation aid for students at TU Wien.

Fachschaften (student councils) are the first point of contact for support in creating study plans or in case of uncertainties regarding STEOP, the curriculum, and registrations.

The campus information system TISS is a platform where students can find the curriculum, register for courses and exams, download necessary documents (e.g., study sheet and study confirmation), and access the calendar.

The TUWEL platform is available to teachers, university staff, and students to support teaching and studying (online resources, online submissions, chats, and much more).
