# Pre-registration for Master's Programmes

If you have completed your bachelor's programme at another national or international educational institution and have never been admitted at TU Wien before, you have to [submit an application](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/masters-programmes/other-inter-national-bachelors-degree) for admission to the [Admission Office](https://www.tuwien.at/en/tu-wien/organisation/central-divisions/admission-office). As soon as you have received a positive decision, you can complete the pre-registration, which is open from the beginning of the [general admission period](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/academic-calendar).
Upon completion of the pre-registration, you will receive an admission code, which you have to bring along with [all other required documents](https://www.tuwien.at/en/studies/admission/masters-programmes/other-inter-national-bachelors-degree) for personal enrolment to the Admission Office during front office hour.
You have to book an appointment in the Admission Office within the framework of the pre-registration (only applicable for winter semesters).
