About
Lelitha Devi Vanajakshi is a Associate Professor at Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras. She obtained her Ph.D in Transportation Engineering from Texas A&M University USA and her current research areas include Traffic Flow Modeling, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Sensors, Traffic Data Analysis and Traffic Operations and Management. She has worked as research assistant in the Texas Transportation Institute. She is having international collaborations with Purdue University, Iowa state university, University of Nebraska Lincoln and Trinity College Dublin. She has around 60 international journal and conference publications and around 50 invited talks and national conferences to her credit.
