Getting to Belfast

Getting to Belfast couldn't be easier

Northern Ireland has three airports, two of which are in Belfast, sea crossings that happen regularly from England to Scotland and also has direct bus and train links from Dublin.

Once you set foot in our city, you'll find out just how easy it is to get around. Belfast is a compact city meaning you can get around on foot, or if you need to get public transport around the city we have a metro bus service that stops right outside the Lanyon Building.

SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL Cycling to Queen's

BELFAST BIKES

The Belfast Bikes scheme launched in April 2015. There are currently over 50 Belfast Bikes docking stations and over 400 bikes linking up the city, with three docking stations on campus. Campus docking stations can be found outside the Students' Union, the McClay Library and Elms BT9 Student Village.

The scheme enables you to collect a bike from one docking station and leave it somewhere else in town. Membership is very reasonable for a full year and of course used bikes are widely available if you'd rather take yours home after a lecture.
