Queen's Business School at Queen’s University Belfast offers world-class undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education.
The School is made up of the Clinton Leadership Institute and six core academic departments:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- International Business, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing
- Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations; and
- Organisation, Work, and Leadership.
The School is a globally renowned centre for high-impact academic and policy research with close links to industry. According to the UK’s 2021 Research Excellence Framework:
- 81% of the School’s research was deemed to be world-leading or internationally excellent.
- 100% of our research environment was judged as being conducive to producing research of world-leading or internationally excellent quality and enabling outstanding impact, in terms of its vitality and sustainability.
- 83% of research outputs submitted were judged as world-leading or internationally excellent in terms of originality, significance, and rigour.
Research at Queen’s Business School interprets patterns of economic, business and social life to foster new theories and ideas and develop recommendations for public policy and business innovations. We seek to deepen understanding of how markets, business organisations and social institutions evolve over time.
