Research areas
Primary research areas of the Computing Systems Laboratory
- implementation of software-defined networks (SDN);
- approaches to Quality of Service (QoS) management in data transmission and processing networks;
- methods for synthesizing the structure of real-time computing systems and planning calculations in them;
- application of discrete optimization and machine learning methods in the development and management of open source software;
- development of processor architecture for network packet switching.

- Technology for advanced network architecture (5G) management
- Management and orchestration of network and cloud services (NFV)

- Serverless computing
The research results have been implemented and are being implemented in such companies as Rostelecom, Sukhoi Design Bureau, Huawei, JSC “CSRI Elektropribor”, “Module” Research Center and other domestic enterprises.
