Our Responsibilities
The Division of International Admissions supports prospective international students, current international students, and international doctoral candidates from their initial inquiries to enrollment. Additionally, we provide guidance for visiting researchers and scholars from various programs.
Admission to Studies and Doctoral Programs
Prospective international students can obtain information about admission requirements, application processes, enrollment procedures, and RWTH’s courses of study through our admissions staff. We also issue reports on formal doctoral study requirements for students with foreign university degrees and assist in hiring international scientists and academics.
Application Procedure for International Applicants
Our division manages the application process for international student applicants, including those applying to restricted-admission programs and higher core semesters. We coordinate RWTH's English-language master's programs and evaluate foreign university certificates for academic stays, research work, or employment at the University.
Our Service Hours
You can reach our Admissions team by phone Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 12:30pm and from 1 to 4pm, as well as Friday from 8:30am to 1pm. In-person consultations are available on Tuesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm and Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm. To avoid waiting times, please book an appointment in advance.
