## What We Stand For

At RWTH, we take seriously our responsibility to address societal challenges and contribute to the public good. ## Portal for Inclusion and Accessibility

The [Portal for Inclusion and Accessibility](https://www.igad.rwth-aachen.de/cms/igad/inklusion/~rhby/portal-inklusion-und-barrierefreiheit/?lidx=1) offers comprehensive information and a range of resources related to disability, chronic health conditions, and support services available at RWTH Aachen University.

## Gender Monitoring

[Gender monitoring](https://www.rwth-aachen.de/go/id/mcri/lidx/1) provides critical data to identify disparities and track progress in representation across the University. As a strategic tool, it informs the planning, execution, and evaluation of gender equity initiatives.

## Events

The [Equal Opportunities Office and Family Services Team host a wide range of events](https://www.rwth-aachen.de/go/id/ckpf/lidx/1) centered on gender equity, inclusion, and work-life balance.

[IGaD also offers many programs](https://www.igad.rwth-aachen.de/cms/igad/gender-diversity/~bmptuq/veranstaltungen/?lidx=1)  designed to spark dialogue, challenge assumptions, and drive meaningful change. All members of the university community are encouraged to participate and help shape a more inclusive campus culture.

## Gender and Diversity by Faculty

Gender equity is a strategic priority at the University, embedded in institutional planning and reflected in policies and initiatives across all levels. Each of the nine Faculties provides information on RWTH’s overall gender and diversity efforts, as well as their specific initiatives, key contacts, and available resources:

#### Faculty 1 – Mathematics and Natural Sciences
