## Specialization: Production and Project Management
Production and project management are critical fields essential for the success of any organization. Production management involves the planning, scheduling, and controlling of manufacturing processes, while project management involves the planning, execution, and control of specific projects to achieve specific goals.
It is a multi-disciplinary field that draws upon engineering, business, and management knowledge. The focus of this specialization is to help organizations improve their production processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and achieve their strategic goals.
The specialization covers various topics, including project, program, and portfolio management, risk management, complexity management, mass customization, and development of product/service systems.
