If you are applying to DTU with a bachelor's degree studied outside Denmark you are required to fill out an application template. This is to ensure that the Heads of Studies have a clear overview of your academic qualifications.

How to complete the mandatory application template

  1. Download the application template

Find and download the application template relevant to the master's programme(s) you are applying to in the list below.\ Make sure you download the newest version available on this webpage. Do not reuse older templates. The templates have been updated for Autumn 2026.*\ * 2. ### Fill in the template

Use Microsoft Excel to open and fill-in the template.\ Do not modify the layout, locked fields, or any formulas.\ The template contains six sheets:\ 1. GPA\ 2. Pre-requisites \ 3. Other programme specific courses\ 4. Other relevant information\ 5. SOP\ 6. English\ \ 3. ### Upload the template with your application for DTU

Upload as one excel file including all the different sheets, as it currently is, not separately or in other file types.\ \ 4. ### Any questions?

If you are applying for a Nordic Five Tech programme that does not have a template, then you do not need to submit one.

Converting your local credits to European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)

If your Bachelor’s degree was obtained outside the European Union, you are required to convert your local credits into ECTS using the official conversion guide.
