The teaching at Technical University of Denmark is organized in four-hour blocks. Each block typically consists of an introductory lecture followed by assignment work in groups with fellow students. In general, all teaching takes place in English.

At DTU Food, National Food Institute, the professors and lecturers are active researchers who specialize in the relevant fields. This ensures that from the onset you are presented with the latest knowledge, and gain insight into research, innovation, and public sector consultancy, which are the institute’s main responsibilities.

Project work

Most courses include project work—either in the form of theoretical studies or experimental work. Project work is used to allow student to work in more depth with topics covered by the course.

It is imperative that you strengthen your communication competences. Therefore, results from group work are disseminated in the form of reports, posters or oral presentations.
