CodeRefinery workshop: Best practices for research software development

DTU and DDSA offer an in-person classroom for all students and staff at Danish universities.

This free online CodeRefinery workshop is designed for researchers and students from all disciplines at Danish universities, who want to write software as part of their research.

This workshop teaches essential tools which are usually skipped in academic education so everyone can make full use of software, computing, and data with focus on reusability, reproducibility, and openness.

The event is a community effort between DTU Library, BRIGHT, DTU Compute and the Turing Council – DTU Compute Master’s Student Council. DDSA is generously sponsoring the in-person class, which includes coffee, snacks and lunch.

How to register

Practicalities

The in-person classroom is free to join and runs over six days at Lyngby Campus.

It is open to both employees and students at all Danish universities. You need to register with a university/student email address for the days you want to attend.

Lunch is included for in-person attendees and there is a limitation on the number of seats.

Please only register for the in-person classroom if you attend physically at DTU.

PhD students may be able to obtain 1 ECTS upon agreement with their study supervisor (Information from previous workshop)
