About the programme
Environmental Technologies and Green Engineering are amongst the fastest growing markets in the world, and there is increasing demand for innovative solutions and many new graduates. The joint nordic MSc degree addresses this demand by pooling resources to create the most comprehensive degree in Environmental Engineering in the world.
The nordic master is offered by the Nordic Five Tech, a strategic alliance of the five strongest technical universities in the Nordic region, with partners in Denmark (DTU), Sweden (KTH, Chalmers University of Technology), Norway (NTNU) and Finland (Aalto University).
The program involves a set of 4 predefined study tracks leading to double degrees in Environmental Engineering. The program strengthens capacities in established areas such as Urban Hydrology, Water Supply and Waste Water Management. Students obtain two MSc degrees, one from each institution.
Dual degree programme
The dual degree programme is an MSc programme of two years or four semesters. The programme consists of three course work semesters followed by the master's thesis which you write during the fourth semester.
You study at DTU for either the first or the second year, and then at the partner university in the programme in the opposite year. You write your master's thesis during the fourth semester.
You will be assigned a DTU supervisor as well as a supervisor from the partner university. Your fellow students will be domestic as well as international students, and the teaching is in English.
Credits
All the partner universities in the nordic master programme uses ECTS point, You will earn 60 ECTS point pr. year.
