DTU uses the Coursera platform, which is an internet education company rooted at Stanford University, California, USA.

Coursera offers online courses at university level via the Internet, in collaboration with several universities around the world. In Denmark the cooperation is with the University of Copenhagen and DTU.

In addition to traditional course materials such as filmed lectures, many MOOCs offer interactive user forums to support the interaction between students and teachers. All courses are in English.
