### **Field Trip in Seoul, South Korea for Undergraduates**

During this trip, students can immerse themselves in Korean culture and broaden their global business perspective and deepen their understanding of ESG principles in action, through engaging in cultural workshops, visiting the local university, and immerse themselves in Korea's vibrant ecosystem. Additionally, students will be able to further broaden their understanding of international entrepreneurship and social innovation, gaining firsthand insights from leading start-ups and multinational corporations, which are crucial for achieving success in today's interconnected world.

### **Refundable Deposit**

HK$5,000\*\
*(The deposit amount will be partially cover the operating expenses of the field trip. The remaining deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the programme, including: Pre-Study Tour Briefing; Proactive participation and attendance to the activities arranged during the field trip in South Korea; and Successful completion of the assignments and evaluation form.)*

Items of this Programme to be arranged by the Faculty Office include:\
**•    Accommodation\
•    Most of the meals in Seoul, South Korea\
•    Ground transportation for visits and activities as arranged in the Programme\
•    Firm visits and Cultural Tours**

Items to be self-arranged by students:\
**•    Round-trip flight tickets** between Hong Kong and South Korea.\
**•    Optional Travel insurance** *(All HKU students will be covered by basic overseas travel insurance as arranged by the University. Nonetheless, participants are strongly recommended to make additional travel insurance arrangements according to individual needs.)*\
**•    Visa application fee** (if you need a visa to travel to South Korea)\
**•    Entertainment expenses**

### **Eligibility**

**•**  All UG students from HKU Business School for the academic year 2025-26\
**•** Students with the following attributes:\
     ○  Passion to understand the development of social innovation, ESG and entrepreneurship in South Korea;\
     ○  Open and critical mindset;\
     ○  Embrace and be sensitive to cultural diversity

### **Post-trip**

Each student needs to submit a reflective report (at least 1,000 words) with at least 10 photos
