**Assistant Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant II) in the School of English** (Ref.: 534417) (to commence on March 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, and work until March 31, 2027)

**Duties and Responsibilities**\
The appointee will provide administrative and research assistance to Professor Olga Zayts and contribute to a research project on university graduates transitioning to post-COVID-19 workplaces.

Duties include:\
• Assisting with the overall administration and research activities of the project;\
• Assisting with preparation of manuscripts for publication as assigned;\
• Managing the project’s websites and social media channels;\
• Creating publicity materials (e.g. infographics, posters, videos) to assist with promoting the project and disseminate findings;\
• Assisting with organizing academic events; and\
• Performing other duties as assigned by the project coordinator.

**Essential Requirements**\
Applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in English Language, Linguistics, Language and Communication, or a related discipline, with a minimum graduation GPA of 3.3/4.3 or equivalent (i.e. a high 2:1) from a reputable university. He/she should preferably be a Cantonese-English or Mandarin-English bilingual speaker, and possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team under pressure.

Preference will be given to those with experience in supporting externally funded research projects, as well as proven proficiency in social media management and event organization.
