The HKU Horizons Office is collaborating with TalentLabs* to offer two programmes for full-time undergraduate students in the summer of 2022.
HKU Horizons Internship Programme (12 weeks)
June 1 － August 31, 2022
Objectives
This programme is designed specifically to:
- Expand participants’ horizons through interesting cross-border projects, internships and networking opportunities
- Enable participants to apply the knowledge they acquired during academic studies through hands-on, practical work experience
- Provide real life experience in executing a tech project
- Foster better communication, cultural appreciation, mutual understanding and integration between Hong Kong and other Asia Pacific countries
Structure
- 1 month of Skills Development Training
- 2 months of Corporate Internship

HKU Horizons Corporate Experiences Programme (8 weeks)
Early June － late July, 2022
Objective
To provide opportunities for participants to acquire and apply new knowledge, gaining hands-on experience working on a real assignment for a host company.
Structure
- 1 month of Skills Development Training
- 5 days of Job Shadowing
- 3 weeks of Field Project

*TalentLabs is a cross-border tech career platform backed by Cyberport, offering practical technology courses and in partnership with technology companies such as Google, Grab, Tencent and HP, collaborative internships as pre-employment training for students.
