The School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) was founded in March 2025 and represents a unique collaboration between the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Dentistry and Sciences at the University of Hong Kong.
Degree Programme
Our Biomedical Engineering (BEng (BME)) programme is training a new generation of biomedical engineers to transform healthcare by combining a deep understanding of human biology with innovative engineering solutions. We empower students to apply fundamental principles and quantitative analysis to address urgent biomedical problems across the lifespan, to enhance health and quality of life and promote healthy aging.
