Join us for a taster session led by Dr. Kristen Murray, Lecturer in the School of English at HKU. With twenty-five years of teaching, researching and directing experience, Dr. Murray brings an interdisciplinary perspective to our unique Black Box stage. Dr. Murray will be joined by student performers for a live rehearsal of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. In addition, she will discuss how to analyse and speak a Shakespearean sonnet (or soliloquy). Throughout the day, you are also welcome to come visit the transformative HKU Black Box – a space where literature, theatre, and artistic expression come to life.
