# Run with HKU -

Celebrate the Legacy, Run for the Future!

## How to Participate

### 01

Register online as a runner — you can join the 3.16km Race or take on the 11.5km Challenge\*.

### 02

Within 20 days, complete a minimum distance of 3.16km or 11.5km by running or walking at a time and route of your choice.

### 03

1. Upload a screenshot of your running or walking record. The date(s), time(s), and total distance covered must be clearly displayed.
2. Upload a photo taken during your run or walk.

\*The 11.5km Challenge is limited to 1,150 participants.

## Runner Categories

### 3.16km Race

Participate in the run for FREE. After the run:

1. You can upload your photo to our website and download it with multiple customised frames.
2. Come back on 14 March 2026 and take your photo at our specially designed runner’s corner!

### 11.5km Challenge

Participate in the run with a registration fee of HK$1,150. In addition to the e-frames and the photo taking corner, participants will receive a limited-edition 115th Anniversary Gift Pack\*.

\*All net proceeds will go to the faculty or unit you choose when registering.

Register on or before 18 January 2026 and enjoy an extra souvenir from the Faculty or Unit that your contribution supports!

*(This optional additional souvenir is only available from selected Faculty or Units, while stocks last.)*

**Delivery Service:**

- Participants of the 11.5km Challenge who register during Phase-1 (on or before 18 January HKT) will have their gift packs shipped from Hong Kong from late January, in chronological order. All other gift packs will be shipped after 14 March 2026.
- The delivery may take approximately 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the destination region.
- Delivery may be subject to delays arising from unforeseen circumstances, in accordance with the announcements of Hongkong Post.
- Each souvenir pack will be delivered once only. The University shall not be held responsible for any loss or misplacement of packages following dispatch.

###### *\***Those who register during Phase-1 will have their gift pack sent from Hong Kong from late Jan 2026.*

Running Period:

17 February, 2026 (Tue) 12 am – 8 March, 2026 (Sun) 11:59pm

Important notice:

1. The registration fee and any additional donations to the event are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
2. Duplicate entries will be considered as a single entry. Any extra fees paid are non-refundable. Submitted materials will not be returned.
3. Before starting your run (or walk), ensure you have a running application (APP), of your choice, installed to record the time, date, and distance.
4. Participants may complete the run or walk at any location between 12:00am (HKT) on 17th February and 11:59pm (HKT) on 8th March 2026.
5. By 11:59pm (HKT) on 8th March 2026, upload running records (screenshot) that clearly display the date, completion time and distance covered.
6. Each uploaded file must not exceed 1MB in size.
7. Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance coverage. Participation in the event is entirely voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. By participating, each participant agrees to absolve HKU, and any sponsors or supporting organizations, from all liability for injuries, accidents, death, or other losses that may occur during or result from the event.
