| At the end of each year, the orchestra proudly presents Annual Performance which gathers a wealth of talented music players on stage. In 2013, the orchestra held the Annual Performance at the Grand Hall, a concert hall with world-class acoustic systems for the very first time. Such an opportunity marks a milestone for us to keep up with our efforts in giving our best performance, in a well-equipped venue, to the audiences who have come all the way through to join us in the pleasure found in classical music. | On the arrival of the spring, a season symbolic of rebirth and vibrancy, the orchestra refreshes people's minds and spices up the community by holding the Spring Concert. The orchestra, which embodies gifted youngsters, hopes to make the best use of its energetic and delightful programs to bring classical music to the audience in an accessible way. | Welcoming our newly-recruited members, the orchestra will provide a chance for freshmen to showcase their talents by giving their own performances on campus. The crucial decisions over the details of the performances are deliberately left to the freshmen, with the aim of enhancing their cooperative skills and building a team spirit among them. Ultimately, the event serves to let our new members taste the bittersweet fruits of giving birth to music while working with those who have a shared passion for music. |
