Getting ready to start your life as a new student?  This page directs you to some of the important information for new students and should answer some of the questions you may have.

## Enrolment

If you have successfully secured a place at Queen Mary, the next step will be to complete your Online Enrolment in [MySIS](https://mysis.qmul.ac.uk). The Admissions team will normally send out enrolment information in late August/early September so please do not panic if you do not recieve anything before this.

## Things to know

- **Your IT account**\
  We will send in your log in details by email before enrolment.  You can find out more about accessing our Wi-Fi and setting up your student email account on the [IT Services Website](http://www.its.qmul.ac.uk/services/students/index.html)
- **Induction and timetables**\
  You will not be able to access your course timetable before the start of the academic year. You can check out our [New Students webpages](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/newstudents/when-you-arrive/) to find out more about what happens when you arrive.
- **Pre-arrival emails**\
  International students - make sure you check our Global Engagement [Pre-arrival checklists](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/prearrival/checklist-starting/) to make sure you are all set to start at Queen Mary
- **Tuition fee invoices**\
  Make sure you know how you are paying your tuition fees!  If you are self-funded, information on how to pay can be found on our [Fees and Funding pages](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/undergraduate/feesandfunding/payment/)
