### **About the SECHITI Graduate Scholarships Abroad**

The SECHITI Graduate Scholarships Abroad programme provides financial support to Mexican students undertaking postgraduate studies overseas in the fields of science and the humanities. Funding is available for both new and continuing students, provided the programme is delivered in a face‑to‑face, on‑campus format.

The scholarship supports study at the master’s or doctoral level and aligns with SECHITI’s mission to foster international academic collaboration and develop highly trained specialists who will contribute to national development upon their return to Mexico.

### **Application Timeline (2026 Call)**

- **Call publication:** 10 March 2026
- **Application period:** 22 March – 22 May 2026
- **Publication of results:** 3 August 2026
- **Start of studies:** Between September 2026 and 30 April 2027, depending on the academic calendar of the host institution

### **What the Scholarship Includes**

The scholarship package includes financial support as outlined in Anexo UNO (Scholarship Award Letter), which forms an integral part of the Scholarship Award Agreement (CAB).

### **Important Update (from the 2026 Call onwards)**

Due to recent changes in the programme’s operational policies, all funds corresponding to the items detailed in Anexo UNO will be provided directly to the scholarship holder.

The scholarship recipient will be solely responsible for allocating these resources exclusively for the purposes for which they were awarded.

SECHITI  will inform universities and current scholarship holders of any updates relating specifically to the payment of tuition fees.
