Who can apply?

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:

• a student completing their secondary education at a school or college in either the London Borough of Lewisham or London Borough of Bromley
• starting a full-time undergraduate or vocational course at a recognised UK-based college, university or institute of further or higher education in September 2024

What can you use an undergraduate scholarship grant for?

You can use the grant for any reasonable costs connected with going to university, including tuition fees, accommodation costs, living expenses, or equipment to help you study.

Are awards paid directly to applicants?

Yes – The Simon Shades Award will normally be paid to the recipient, in full and by bank-to-bank transfer.
