This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents (at least 3 years) in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney **or** students who attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form in the London Borough of Havering.

- You must have enrolled in September 2026 and be in the first year of your course in either the Faculty of Science and Engineering or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- You must be a permanent resident in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney and have lived there for at least three years **or** have attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form
- You must have been assessed by Student Finance England (SFE) as having a household income of £42,875 a year or less. You do not need to take any loans if you do not wish to do so but you must ensure that you request a [full income assessment](https://arcs.qmul.ac.uk/students/finances/bursaries-grants-scholarships/inc-assess/) by SFE when you apply for your student finance so that we can verify your household income figure
- You will have to make an application to be considered for one of the Queen Mary Annual Fund scholarships and application forms will be available after September 2026 enrolment
