## Advice and support

For further guidance, we offer an [Advice and Counselling Service](https://www.welfare.qmul.ac.uk/) for individuals. The service is confidential, and can be used anytime before starting your course and throughout your studies at Queen Mary. We particularly encourage students from a care background, or who otherwise have no contact with their family, or who are living alone in the UK to contact us for advice before starting their course.
