### Late Arrivals Checklist
Take a look at the checklist below for what you need to do to get started at Queen Mary.
#### 1. Check you’ve received your IT login details
Your IT username and password information should have been emailed to you directly, shortly after your email to invite you to complete pre-enrolment. If you haven't had yours or are having difficulty logging in, please contact IT Services at [helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk](mailto:helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk) or call 0207 882 8888.
#### 2. Get in touch with your Student Support Officer
Find out who your [Student Support Officer is](http://my.qmul.ac.uk/course-essentials/ask-for-help/student-support-contacts/) and get in touch with them. They will be able to help you catch up with anything you've missed.
#### 3. Meet your Advisor
You may have already received an email inviting you to a meeting with your Advisor. You can [find out who your Advisor is](https://my.qmul.ac.uk/course-essentials/ask-for-help/personal-tutorsacademic-advisers/) and their contact details via the [MySIS](https://mysis.qmul.ac.uk/urd/sits.urd/run/siw_lgn) student record system. Your Student Support Officer will also be able to point you in the right direction. [Read about what to expect from your Advisor.](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/newstudents/when-you-arrive/advisors/)
#### 4. Familiarise yourself with QMplus

#### 5. Get involved with societies, events and trips with the Queen Mary Students' Union
[The Students' Union](https://www.qmsu.org/) is here for you, from start to finish, and it is never too late to join in - and by being a student you are automatically a member! Choose from over 300 [societies, sports clubs, volunteering groups, student media outlets](https://www.qmsu.org/clubs-socs/) and [liberation campaigns](https://www.qmsu.org/yourvoice/working_on/) where you can try something new, continue an existing hobby and meet new people. Get moving at [Qmotion, the on-campus Sport & Fitness Centre](https://www.qmsu.org/qmotion/) and several sports programmes including [Get Active](https://www.qmsu.org/getactive/) and [Social Leagues](https://www.qmsu.org/socialleagues/). You can join any of these activities at any time throughout the year. There are also lots of events, trips and activities each week throughout the year on campus, in Students' Union venues, in London and further afield. #### 6. Register with a GP
There is a free [Student Health Service](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/student-health/) on Mile End campus (Geography building). [Register with the Student Health Service online](https://www.eastlondonregistergp.nhs.uk/start) if you live on Mile End campus, or in the postcodes E1, E2, E3, or E14.
