This progamme offers you first-rate teaching from academic and industry experts of a relevant curriculum anchored in the demands of the energy sector. You'll learn how to apply your academic knowledge to industry problems. We work with leading international law firms, energy companies and energy consultancies to facilitate this approach.
The energy sector faces its biggest challenge as it transitions from fossil fuels to low carbon alternatives. It is a period of rapid change with law and regulation of the sector playing a central role.
- Choose from an unparalleled module selection covering the wide spectrum of the sector; from upstream oil and gas to renewables; nuclear law to mining; energy and ethics to arbitration and more.
- Learn from highly experienced academics; many of whom have been or are practising lawyers anchoring the course in the real problems of the sector, to equip you better for employment when you leave.
- Access to top energy law firms and companies in London through mentoring, internships, guest lecturers and events. Our location offers close proximity to energy companies, banks, insurers and consultancies drawn to the second biggest financial centre in the world.
- Study within the [Energy and Climate Change Law Institute](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/eli/), a home for multidisciplinary research into law and regulation in the energy sector
