Our support for Degree Apprentices allows you to gain the tools needed to progress in your chosen industry.

This includes access to our specialist Careers Consultants, the latest industry insights from visiting alumni and the numerous employers that come on to campus. Here is more information about the different ways in which we can help.

Bitesize Careers Essentials

We've created a range of short videos on different career topics (interview techniques, assessment centres, cover letters etc) for students like you who don't have much time to attend our longer workshops!

Success Stories

Hear from previous Degree Apprentices about how the scheme has helped them to thrive in the world of work. These perspectives provide an honest account of the highlights and challenges of doing a Degree Apprenticeship.

Careers Guidance

One to one advice appointments (up to 40 minutes), which can be either face to face or virtual. Can be used to discuss topics such as; how to make the most of your time at university, how to excel in the workplace, how to develop your professional networks and how to build your personal brand.

Application Advice

One to one appointments (20 mins), which can be either face to face or virtual, to discuss topics such as; a CV refresh, help with a promotion application or reviewing a cover letter.

Practice Interviews

One to one appointments (30 mins) which can be either face to face or remote, to run through an upcoming interview and receive tailored feedback on their interview performance.

LinkedIn Learning

Access to a wide range of courses, which can be taken at any time. Examples include Professional (presentation skills, time management, influencing, effective communication, management training, negotiation, networking), Technical (Excel, Python, data analysis, SEO, finance, design, project management) and Personal Development (wellbeing, career choice, resilience) courses.
