This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or London Borough of Hackney who have lived there for at least three years or a student who attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form in the London Borough of Havering. 

• For 2025/26 entry students four bursaries will be available, subject to confirmation
• You must have enrolled in September 2025 and be in the first year of study on a Chemistry Degree
• Be a permanent resident in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney and have lived there for at least three years or a student who attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form in the London Borough of Havering.
• You must be assessed by Student Finance England (SFE) as having a household income of £42,875 or less. You do not need to take any loans if you do not wish to do so but you must ensure that you request a full income assessment by SFE when you apply for your student finance so that we can verify your household income figure and eligibility for one of these bursaries.
