Queen Mary deals with allegations that may constitute disciplinary misconduct under the Student Discipline Policy.

If a students wishes to report a matter of disciplinary misconduct, they can do so via Report + Support or via AskQM. If reporting via AskQM, log in, select 'new enquiry' then choose Appeals and Complaints as the enquiry category followed by 'Appeals, Complaints and Conduct Office Queries' as the subcategory.

If a staff member wishes to report a matter of disciplinary misconduct, they should do so by emailing the Head of the Appeals, Complaints and Conduct Office - h.fuller@qmul.ac.uk

Disciplinary Appeals

If you have received a Student Disciplinary outcome which you are dissatisfied with, you have the right to appeal. Disciplinary Appeals should be submitted within 14 days of the outcome. There are two grounds for a Disciplinary Appeal – that the procedures were not followed appropriately, and/or that the outcome was not reasonable in light of the available evidence.

If you think you meet the grounds for an academic appeal, you can use AskQM to submit your appeal. Log into AskQM, and select 'new enquiry' then choose Appeals and Complaints as the enquiry category followed by 'Disciplinary Appeal' as the subcategory.
