Step 2. Explore the labour market (Career profile)

In the previous step, you worked on your personal profile (Know Yourself). In the Explore the job market section, you'll further develop your (career) profile using more concrete assignments.

Your (career) profile consists of a combination of what you have to offer (personal profile) and what is required (labour market). The better you are at articulating your personal profile and your desired labour market, the more effectively you'll be able to find a job that suits you.

To complete the (career) profile, you'll first explore your interests. This includes interests related to types of work, organisations, people, and employment conditions. You can find the corresponding assignments on the (Career) Profile page.

After these assignments, which will help you partially complete your (career) profile, you'll be given an explanation of a specific way to gain more insight into a job or organization. Namely, by having (informative) conversations with people in the field. This is called networking.
